Join us for the 5th Annual OdySea Aquari-RUN: An Ink-Credible Dash for Conservation! at Arizona Boardwalk/OdySea Aquarium on Sunday, April 19 2026.




The OdySea Aquari-RUN – 'An Ink-Credible Dash for Conservation’, is an octopus themed 5k and kids race fundraiser to support the OdySea Aquarium Foundation. As the non-profit partner at OdySea Aquarium, the OdySea Aquarium Foundation seeks to educate, engage, enrich and inspire all ages to conserve and protect our planet by supporting local education programs and conservation work!

This year’s race is all about celebrating the octopuses and their ‘ink-credible’ adaptability and curiosity! Runners are encouraged to wear their best octopus themed running attire to this family friendly event!

The OdySea Aquari-RUN: Wade into the Challenge! is a fun and family-friendly event to support the OdySea Aquarium Foundation. As the non-profit partner of OdySea Aquarium, the Foundation seeks to educate, engage, enrich, and inspire all ages to conserve and protect our planet by supporting local educational programs and conservation work.  To support their amazing work please consider donating here!

Race Day Information

  • Race Day Check In and Registration will be available beginning at 6:30am at Arizona Boardwalk/OdySea Aquarium.

    • We accept cash, check, and credit card on race day.  Race day price are $50 for adults running the 5K, $40 for kids running the 5K, and $25 for all Kiddie Kraken Dash participants.

    • All shirt sizes may not be available on race day (please register online before race day to guarantee your shirt size choice).

  • Wheelchair, stroller, and leashed pet friendly event.

    • All wheelchairs, stollers, and leashed pets must start at the back of the start line coral.

      • All participants are chipped time, so your time will not be affected by starting at the back of the coral.  Your  time will not start until you cross the start line.

  • Due to the common start/finish line there will be no bag check for this event.

  • April 18th 2:00PM - Packet Pick-Up at Arizona Boardwalk/OdySea Aquarium in Scottsdale from 2:00 - 5:00pm

  • April 19th 6:30AM - Race Day Packet Pick-up & Registration Opens

  • April 19th 7:30AM - 5K Begins

  • April 19th 7:40AM - Kiddie Kraken Dash (Half Mile) Begins

  • April 19th 8:30AM - Award Ceremony Begins (approx)
